Terms and Conditions
By creating an Omevo account you accept the terms below. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app.
1. Who provides the service
The service is provided by Async Software Method SRL, tax ID (CUI) 46446886, trade register no. J2022013144407, with its registered office at Str. Fragmentului nr. 11, Sector 5, Bucharest 052583, Romania. Contact: [email protected].
2. What Omevo is
Omevo is a daily information service: it brings together, in one place, information of current interest — such as the weather, exchange rates, tax information, press headlines, public company data or the traffic on your commute. If you choose, you can save your vehicles and get reminders when their documents (road vignette, RCA, CASCO, ITP) are about to expire.
Omevo does not provide tax, accounting, legal or financial advice. The information displayed is for information purposes only. Before making a decision based on it, check the official source and, where appropriate, consult a professional.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- The details you provide at sign-up must be real.
- You are responsible for your password and for the activity in your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password and write to us.
- An account is for one person. Do not share it.
- You can delete your account at any time: in the phone app from Settings → Account → Delete account, and on the website (omevo.app) from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and final. Deleting the account does not cancel an active subscription; cancel it separately from your App Store or Google Play account.
4. How you may use the app
You may not:
- access the service automatically (scripts, bots, scraping) or systematically extract content from it;
- redistribute, resell or republish the content displayed in the app;
- attempt to bypass technical limits, authentication or access restrictions;
- use the service in a way that breaks the law or someone else's rights.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, with prior notice where possible.
5. Content from external sources
Part of the content displayed comes from external sources — press publications, public registers and data sources, third-party service providers — and is shown with credit to the source; the list of sources is available in the app under Settings → Legal → Data sources and licences. This content belongs to its owners and is provided "as is": we do not guarantee its accuracy or timeliness, and the official source always prevails over what we display. Some features use Google Maps content and features; their use is subject to the then-current versions of the Google Maps End User Additional Terms (maps.google.com/help/terms_maps) and the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
Information about vehicles is shown "as is", for information purposes: the road-vignette validity comes from the official administrator's public verification service, and the details you enter — including the make and model decoded from the VIN — may contain errors. Reminders are informative and do not replace checking your documents or paying on time; the official source and your own documents always prevail. For official checks and purchases (RCA, ITP, road vignette), the app may send you to third-party official pages; those are their services, under their own terms, and we are not a party to them and are not responsible for them.
6. AI-generated headlines and summaries
News headlines and summaries are generated by an artificial-intelligence system from the material published by the source, and are labelled as such in the app. They may contain errors or omissions; for the full and accurate story, open the original article. If you find a summary that is wrong, offensive or misattributed, write to [email protected] — we review every report and correct or remove the material.
7. Prices and subscriptions
The core features are free. If we offer a paid subscription, the rules below apply.
In the mobile app (App Store, Google Play)
- the seller is Apple or Google respectively; they collect payment, issue the tax document and decide refunds under their own policies;
- the price, currency and period are shown on the purchase screen, VAT included;
- the subscription renews automatically until you cancel it; cancellation is done from your App Store or Google Play account, before the end of the current period (on the App Store, at least 24 hours before).
For new subscriptions we may offer a 7-day free trial, once per store account (Apple ID or Google account). At the end of the trial the subscription automatically becomes a paid subscription at the price shown on the purchase screen, unless you cancel earlier (on the App Store, at least 24 hours before the trial ends). Cancellation is done from your App Store or Google Play account; if you cancel during the trial, you are not charged.
Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you have, under GEO 34/2014, the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. The subscription is purchased through the App Store or Google Play, and access to Omevo Pro starts immediately after purchase. To the extent the law allows, if you withdraw after access has started, you may owe an amount proportionate to the access already provided (Art. 14(3) of GEO 34/2014), and the right of withdrawal is lost once the service has been fully performed (Art. 16(a)).
For purchases made through the App Store or Google Play, withdrawal or refund requests go to Apple or Google respectively, as they are the seller, and are handled under that store's rules.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We depend on external providers that may be unavailable, and maintenance may temporarily interrupt access.
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses resulting from the use of the information displayed. Always check the official source before a decision that matters.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, or the rights consumer-protection law grants you mandatorily.
9. Intellectual property
The app, the Omevo name, the design and the code belong to us. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app under these terms. Content from external sources remains the property of its owners.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For important changes we notify you in the app before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service and delete your account.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If a disagreement arises, write to us first — almost anything can be resolved with an email.
As a consumer, you can contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (anpc.ro) or its alternative dispute resolution body (reclamatiisal.anpc.ro), under GO 38/2015. The competent courts are those of your domicile.
